But my pressure is mainly about whether I am progressing or not, able to have my own breakthrough or not, I won't be thinking about matters like the new taking over the old.] Being a model, acting in idol series and now working with such talented people like Sylvia Chang and Edward Lam in a stage play together, Zheng Yuan Chang is slowly achieving his targets of his acting career one step at a time — to become a fully versatile artist, [That would be an artist venturing to the 3 fields of movies, TV series, music; now movies and singing are yet to be fulfilled, but they are already under planning stage.]

To become a fully versatile artist is Zheng Yuan Chang’s target for his career but he still have one more secret dream, [At the moment is still not fulfilled yet, if I did then I will retired, but now I can't announce this dream yet.] A lot of artists will be saying that job as an actor will mean non-stop filming and having a jam packed schedule, makes them losing a lot of freedom and spaces, but Zheng Yuan Chang is very reasonable while dealing with this lost, and he has already found the balance between these 2 aspects, [Basically I will take a holiday in once every 2 years, I just had my holiday last year so this year and next year I will be telling myself that I will be very busy with my work. this is very reasonable and normal.]

After he has become strong then he will think about romantic relationship
Despite Zheng Yuan Chang has been going from one idol series after another and has been having one perfect romantic relationship after another with his female co-stars but in his real life, Zheng Yuan Chang’s love life is still remain as empty.

The media tends to say I have a sweet mouth, I’m happy to read that because I think that I have achieved the basic manners, it proves that my parents have taught me well.] Meeting such a popular idol in person for the very first time, I don’t know where I have plucked up the courage to blur out what is in my inner heart: [The feelings that you gave me, made me think that our are very close and yet the truth is we are actually very far apart…] [Yes, that’s what my friends said too!] He didn’t wait for my answer and went on eagerly [I can get along well with people easily but the level of familiarity has a limit, and it could not go on any further than that, because I have a high wall built in front of my heart, it's because I've joined the entertainment industry so my vigilance is more alert than before.]

A lot of artists are afraid letting people know about how they really feel so we couldn’t really blame Xiao Zong for doing so. His parents divorce has caused him to mature faster than other people, from being playful to someone who will ponder. After joining the entertainment industry he lost his way for a very short period but was able to come out from the trance very quickly and focus on reaching for his goals. All those ranting and accusations will not get to him anymore. [Under this kind of working environment, I need to find a way to entertain myself, to find my own happiness; to me [habit], [worth it], [regret] are not a very good adjectives, I don’t have a habit, also doesn’t have worth it or not worth it and of course there’s nothing to be regret about, because these are my own choices!]

When we have so many irresponsible idols surfacing in the industry nowadays and to be able to meet up with such a wise young man in Taipei, this trip is indeed worth it.

Idols are very busy, that’s a fact that can be understandable, Zheng Yuan Chang’s manager An Li has reminded me earlier on: [The interview must end before 5pm, because Xiao Zong is having his exam tonight!] He is currently studying in Hsing Wu College major in tourism. Subjects will be including food and beverage management, hotel management, economics, Japanese, English and other related principles and rules. [Because I didn’t get to study much, after graduated from high school I moved to Taipei looking for jobs, haven’t been to university before, I would like to gain more knowledge, it’s because I want to have a race with myself. Other than that I will also be able to know how to be a tour guide, preparing beverages, it allows me to have more alternatives options for my future.] Almost choking my throat —– Xiao Zong, the famous artist of all around Asia still needs to have other alternatives options for his future? [One day, maybe I will open a restaurant; the knowledge will be very useful to me in the future.] There are two types of people who are able to have a smooth course in the entertainment —- First, a total blank and empty mind, doesn’t analyze and doesn’t think, will only follow what has been planned out, being oblivious! Second, optimistic, has their own principle, hardly to be influenced, like Xiao Zong, [Joined the entertainment industry for 6 years, it’s like sitting in a high speed car, you will lost you way when you reached the highest point, and the same too when you reached the lowest point, so you have to adjust your attitude and be very clear with what you want, minimize your unhappiness and maximize your happiness, this is how I entertain myself in this entertainment industry.]

What type of experience that you have to go through in order to have good looks and intelligence? Body was given by parents, and it turns out that Xiao Zong’s rapid maturity was also given by his parents. [I am the only son in the family, so when I was born I was being pampered by my parents, grandparents. I remember one time, I was in kindergarten then, I think, my mom has taken my older sister for McDonalds, I was home alone and taking my afternoon nap, I noticed their absence when I woke up, I was very upset, they didn’t inform me about going to McDonalds? Crying for the second, third day, she won’t be coming back either, at that very moment you will start to grow up, doesn't feel like being playful anymore, have to be more mature than other children.] The days when Xiao Zong was living with his father, has discipline him to become a filial child, [Will frequently be beaten, every beating is the worse, he will use newspaper, medium size stick, flicks my ears, that's my worse punishment, it feels like being slapped right on the face, it’s like your dignity has to suffer the punishment too, very humiliating.]

When I just started to become a model, he doesn’t think this job will have a future, so I have to discuss with him, if now I take the path that you have planned out for him, if I have any regrets in the future, I will blame you; while if you let me make my own choice, in the end I can only blame myself!] Does his kind father able to understand this? [He did step back, and he thinks that he has already provided education and caring ever since I was small so after I’m 18 years old, I’m allowed to make my own decisions.]

Xiao Zong’s beautiful acting dream didn’t [start off immediately], before being covered up by the idol package he has tried out comedy and tried to look ugly. As fame and status started to row down his way, someone who is as wise as him will lost his way because of his fame. [When I just joined the entertainment industry, like during the first two years, I believe that you will only have friends when you have money, because I’m afraid of emptiness and loneliness and unable to be alone in my house, I must have somebody with me while having meals, (so I will be) treating meals all the time, spending money like water.] How scare Xiao Zong is about loneliness? He remembered a very classic story: [While filming [The Rose], there’s a scene where I have to cry but I failed to do so, the director asked me to come and stand at the side, asked me “Xiao Zong, who do you care the most?” Father? No tears! Think about mother? Older sister? I shake my heads; after talking about numerous stories, I said to the director: [I think, the person that I love the most, the person that I care the most, is myself!] The director immediately embraced me in his hug, holding me tightly, stroking my back and says: [Person who loves themselves the most are usually the loneliest!] After hearing that, I broke down immediately, crying wholeheartedly!] Remembering his younger days has make Xiao Zong laughing out laughed non-stop: [That time I was only 19 years old, still in a very young life. Now if I want to explain the process again, that time I am using money to buy liveliness, feels that liveliness means happiness!] As year goes by, he was living in the world fills with sweet words, then when will be the day of living in the clouds will end? Xiao Zong thought about it for a while then he answered the question with a solemn face: [I was being betrayed by someone that I trusted, it was a hard fall, but I woke up immediately!] The faster the fall comes the faster you will be able to get back on your feet, adjust your perceptive about this incident; this can also be considered as Xiao Zong’s luck. [Yes, I am very grateful to the people who have tripped me, they have allowed me to wake up and grow up in the early stage.] His generous grin is extra good looking at this point of time.

Only has 3 minutes of impulsion
Xiao Zong said at the moment he is having a healthy lifestyle, he has someone to talk to who is not in the entertainment industry, knows how to enjoy being alone, of course, it doesn’t mean that he is rejecting about having a romantic relationship. [I hope to have a girlfriend, able to hold hands with her and walking along the busiest street or have a date together at the 6th exit of the Metro station in Ximending!] He is hoping to find someone who will be able to understand his work, finished doing each other work first, and then going home and spend a normal life together. On the contrary the girls that he most afraid of will be those who will cry, having tantrum, talking about death all the time, no matter how beautiful she is, he will not be interested. [When it comes to feelings, everyone will have their own tactics to achieve their target, but the main point will be without hurting anybody, crying for life or death, just by thinking about it, it’s quite scary already!] Seems like it is quite similar to the story plot in the idol series —– in real life there’s such people will always be talking about life or dead? [Yes!] Xiao Zong and his manager started to talk together. [I know someone who will always use death to force people and that person is a guy too!]

From my own intuition and analysis, I can imagine that it will be hard for Xiao Zong to fall for someone. [My urge may only last for 3 to 10 minutes, usually I won’t let myself dwell in that whirlpool for long.] The question is does the popular idol allows to have this privilege or not? (To have a romantic relationship) An Li said: [He is allow to have romantic relationship, it will help him in his acting too but also have to see if the girl is nice or not, as long as they share they are true and sincere to their feelings, then it is ok!] [But how do you know she is nice or not?] Xiao Zong uttered the words faster than me. Food Lover
Arrived in the restaurant picked by Zheng Yuan Chang earlier then the interview time, the in-door decoration has sort of increase my appetite, the simple afternoon tea set meal: fish and chips was delicious. [In the city like Taipei, it is quite rare to have a roomy place like this, over here is more focusing on the atmosphere!] Xiao Zong ordered potato croquette + fries + toast + coffee set (NT$300) those heat energy and calories that idols afraid the most were like a [family reunion] here, does this mean that he doesn’t need to worry about it? [I do concern about my weight, normally I will have small and frequently meals, if I eat more the I will do more exercise, I love to bike riding and swimming, if that day I don’t have to work, I will swim twice a week, once I’ve in the water it will be for 2 hours.] No wonder the Xiao Zong in front of me is having such ideal body shape, only weight 78kg, and the variance won’t be more then 2 kg.

Because he accommodate with the proper exercise, Xiao Zong is able to enjoy the delicious food. [I love food, I love to eat the most will be beef that is half done, but I don't dare to eat the raw beef delicacy in Japan, number 2 is oyster, number 3 is prawn with shields.] Facing a talkative handsome guy, doesn’t matter if it is my emotion or appetite, both have allowed me fill full with content.
