Netizens want Lee Min Ho for ‘Mischievous Kiss’

We reported earlier this month that popular Japanese manga ‘Mischievous Kiss’ was being remade into a Korean drama by the creators of the hit show ‘Boys Over Flowers’. The producers of ‘Mischievous Kiss’ are currently searching for cast members, and apparently Lee Min Ho is the most popular choice amongst netizens for the drama’s lead role. The other F4 boys–Kim Bum, Kim Joon, and Kim Hyun Joong–have also garnered some support from netizens for the role. If casted, Lee Min Ho would once again bring out his sexy bad boy charm to play the role of Naoki, a handsome but arrogant high school genius chased after by a girl named Kotoko, who does everything and anything she can to prove her feelings to him.

As for the role of Kotoko, Goo Hye Sun and Kim So Eun are the popular choices. Seems like netizens really want a ‘Boys Over Flowers’ reunion, which wouldn’t be out of the question, considering the producers are obviously aware of the appeal of that drama’s cast.

As for me, I shall clasp my hands in anticipation for a possible Lee Min Ho/Kim So Eun match. How would you guys feel if those two were cast for the lead roles? Would you rather see him get back together with Goo Hye Sun?

SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong and Heo Young Saeng get together with 2 Hong Kong hotties?

The Hong Kong media (Apple Daily) is all over this story. SS501′s Kim Hyun Joong and Heo Young Saeng were recently spotted in Hong Kong hotspot Lan Kwai Fong with two unknown females (allegedly Hong Kong girls) at around 1:30 AM. They were supposedly drinking lots of Red Bull (which is quite good might I add, gives me boosted energy for late night activities…) and Heo Young Saeng was seen throwing a cigarette bud on the ground. They then get in a cab with these two unknown hotties and drive off somewhere.

The Hong Kong media is implying that they went off somewhere for some “extracurricular activities” and that they secretly flew into Hong Kong for a secret get-away vacation with females. While of course DSP Entertainment is piping down on such notions and stated, “It’s just tabloid / paparazzi work. SS501 was tired from the Budokan concerts in Japan and they went to Hong Kong to unwind with 8 friends that they knew as kids. It’s just the Hong Kong media twisting the story around from the photos showing the two females getting into a cab with Hyun Joong and Young Saeng.”

Hmm… it seems like Tabloid journalism at it’s finest, but one has to wonder who’s telling the truth, I think it’s probably somewhere in between… just like Hyun Joong was with the 2 hotties on… nevermind. “Wuss up” to Amy Thomas for the tip.

SS501 holds successful concerts in Japan

On August 13th, SS501 held two successful concerts (1PM and 7PM) at the famed Budokan venue in Tokyo, Japan. The venue seats around 15,000 and more than 30,000 people were in attendance for both concerts, which means the concerts were a big success.

This is their first concert out of Korea, from their Persona Asian Tour. In October they’ll hold concerts in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. In November they’ll be in Thailand, and finally finishing the final leg of the tour in December in Malaysia and Singapore. They also plan to release a new album sometime in mid-September. SS501 Hyun Joong’s Confession about 2NE1’s CL

Idol group SS501′s leader and flower boy Kim Hyun Joong confessed, “Out of the 2NE1 members I am paying close attention to CL” during an interview with MBC SectionTV.

When asked by the reporter, “Out of all the girl groups, is there a specific member who you closely observe?” And Hyun Joong’s answer was 2NE1′s bad girl CL.

He also expressed how he felt about CL saying “When I saw her I asked myself ‘Wow, who is that?’ and admired CL.”

Hyun Joong never got to see CL in person so he recorded a video message to her saying “I am your senior of a few years but I wish your career as a singer will be good. Thanks for giving me inspiration.”

Looks like CL is gaining more fans by the minute and not just any fans but extremely cute ones as well. Do you think CL will be interested in Hyun Joong, too?
