Song Hye Kyo here for shoot

If you thought you spotted Korean star Song Hye Kyo in Chinatown on Wednesday, well, that really was her.

The actress most famous for TV shows such as Autumn In My Heart and full House has quietly come to Singapore with Korean actor Hyun Bin to film a new series, reported LIanhe Wanbao yesterday.

She was seen shooting a scene near Chinatown MRT station on Wednesday afternoon, said the report.

For the scene, she got into a tussle with a supporting actor. Five to six German tourists passing by were rounded up as extras for the shoot that took two hours, added the report.

Song and Hyun — of My Lovely Sam Soon fame — play TV directors in the show, The World They Live In, which is scheduled to premiere in South Korea in November.

Apparently, the cast and a crew of about 70 have been here since Monday for the shoot.

The actors were seen by fans arriving at Changi airport on Monday night, the report said.

A source told the newspaper that the group will stay till next Tuesday before heading to nearby Bintan for more filming.

They will return to South Korea via Singapore on Thursday, the report said.
