Enlisted actor Gong Yoo (Gong Ji Cheol), applied for special leave to pay last respect to his friend, Lee Eon. He attended the funeral service and sent his friend through the last journey in tears.

孔劉於23日凌晨四點左右，在漢南洞順天祥醫院所舉�$(D??的李炎出殯儀式，於移靈時，捧著牌位，顯示出凌駕一般普通朋友交情的深厚情誼。儘管現在是軍人的身分，仍然匆忙地�$(D??到了靈堂會場，讓人感受到他悲痛的心情。
At around 4am on 23rd August, Gong Yoo was at the funeral hall in Soon Chun Hyang University Hospital in Hannam-dong, Seoul to attend the funeral service. While pall bearers carried the casket to the hearse, Gong Yoo was holding Eon’s tablet. This showed the deep friendship between them. He rushed to the funeral hall eventhough he is an active soldier, many felt his pain and sorrow.

A personnel from Gong Yoo’s army unit said, “Gong Yoo applied for special leave directly from the officer to attend Lee Eon’s funeral service”. He further explained, “Special leave is applied by individual and granted on special circumstances”.

接著並\x{8aaa}：『提出申請之後，指揮官判斷該事由是否足以構成休假的標準。通常是在家屬或是親戚過世時，給予特休。但若是特別親近的朋友的過世，也可以依情況給予特休。』
He also said, “After submission of application, the officer will assess if the reason provided is valid for special leave approval. Normally it is for the demise of family members or relatives. It can also be granted in the case of the demise of very close friends.”

李 炎和孔劉從模特兒時代開始就非常地親近，兩人並且同時因為『�$(D????王子1號店』當中的演出，拓展了自己的演藝事業，兩人的交情非同一般。根據孔劉部隊的長官 所言，基於考量他們如此深厚特別的交情，依規定給予特休。也因此，佇立在護送李炎最後一程的孔劉的身影，看來格外地因備受打�$(D??而顯得脆弱與憔悴。
Lee Eon and Gong Yoo have been very close since modelling days. Both of them rose to stardom through their roles in the phenomenally popular MBC drama series “Coffee Prince.” According to Gong Yoo’s army officer, he approved his leave application after considering their deep and special friendship. When sending Lee Eon through his last journey, Gong Yoo appeared to have suffered a big blow and looked haggard and fragile.

After cremation, Lee Eon’s remains will be buried in his hometown – Busan.
